• Responsible for abstracting and auditing data through a vast array of databases and software programs to support coding requirements for surgical procedures. Ensures accuracy in all elements of patient charges including development of procedure Maintenance Forms and data entry of patient charges.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent required. Post Secondary education in a related field preferred.

Experience

• Experience in a health care setting, abstracting, medical terminology, and computer skills required. Coding experience preferred.
• If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado driver’s license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
