Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll provide world-class pharmacy services, supporting the pharmacist with drug procurement, preparation, storage, inventory control, distribution, prescriptions, and dispensing, while ensuring superior maintenance of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Spending 50% of your time in Population Health, working remotely to conduct patient outreach focused on addressing medication non-adherence.
• Communicating with patients via phone or electronic messaging and collaborating with other healthcare stakeholders to resolve medication concerns.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion or enrollment in an Indiana Board of Pharmacy-approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program within one year of employment.
• Completion of high school algebra is required; clerical and science courses are preferred.
• Computer experience is a plus.

Licensure/Certification:

• Must hold, or be eligible for, an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech-in-Training license or a current State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician or Intern license.

Experience:

• At least one year of pharmacy experience and/or formal pharmacy technician coursework is preferred.
