Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to our residents on a Dementia Unit, while following established policies and procedures and providing compassionate care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
• Admit, discharge and transfer residents as assigned
• Ensure all medications and treatments have been administered
• Receive telephone orders from physicians, transcribe and record orders
• Ensure nursing documentation reflects the individual care plan
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of Delaware
• It is key to being able to provide excellent patient care
• Provide patient care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the written plan of care as well as physicians plan of treatment
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgement
• Provide respectful and compassionate care to all residents/families/caregivers
• Provide direction to clinical team members
• Maintain resident confidentiality
• Accurate documentation in accordance with the provided orders
• Dementia/ Psych experience highly preferred!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $37.50 per hour
