The front gate is the first and last memories made at Adventureland Park, and the team member objective is to get guests safely and efficiently inside the park. Areas included in the front gate include the parking lot, sales and season pass booth, and ticket taking. We Are Currently Looking For aAdventureland Park - Admissions Team Member Roles & ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:
Greets all guests with a friendly smile
Operates a point-of-sale system including ability to accurately process credit card and gift card sales
Strong communications skills are essential as guests will frequently inquire about various aspects of the park
It is essential for front gate employees to enforce park policy
Responsible for ensuring all guests who enter the park have a ticket, season pass or valid handstamp
Responsible for catching handstamp transfers, verifying the person entering the park matches the picture on file, checking for fraudulent tickets, etc.
Versatility is important as you may be directed to move between various front gate positions throughout your shift.
Protects guest belongings; turns in lost and found items immediately
Reports maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor or manager in a timely manner
Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience
Promptly notifies the security team or the operator of team member and guest injuries or emergencies
Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors, managers, or directors
Skills
Constant repetitive motion
Constantly be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Frequent kneeling, bending, twisting motions
Sporadically able to work in confined spaces
Consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools
Ability to withstand heat and humidity
Sporadically work in other areas of the property
Is subject to frequent interruptions and may need to reprioritize activities
Consistent communication with team members and other departments
