The Ride Maintenance assistant helps support the Ride Maintenance team with basic tasks, shop organization, and cleaning. This position will also shadow the mechanics and learn basic skills that can help the team operation.

We are currently looking for a:

Adventureland Park - Rides Maintenance Assistant (Seasonal)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

* Assist the Ride Maintenance team with cleaning of parts.

* Assist in the ride tear down and winter rehab under the guidance and supervision of the full-time mechanics.

* Help the Ride Maintenance team with creating and maintaining a detailed part inventory.

* Keep the maintenance shop and the surrounding lot clean and organized to present a professional appearance at all times.

* Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Languages: English; Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Skills:

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, and be able to become proficient and accurate with company software applications.

* Must be able to file and retrieve documents in a timely and efficient manner.

* Must pay attention to detail and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Physical requirements include the ability to sit, walk, speak, hear, lift up to 20 lbs., and use common office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, and telephones.

* Must be able to work in an office setting, and occasionally outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during peak season (May thru October).

* Must be able to greet and interact with staff, guests, and contractors with a positive, professional attitude, and willingness to work in a team-oriented atmosphere while working independently to handle projects
