What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager/Executive Assistant to President position at Parry Custom Homes?

We are seeking an Executive Assistant & Office Admin to become an integral part of our team. You will be joining a team of professionals in the construction industry that holds themselves to a higher standard to be the best. You must truly be a team player and be willing to work and give 100% effort to being the best at your position that you can possibly be daily. Hours will extend past a normal work week. This is not your normal 9-5 position. We will need you to be available after 5 pm occasionally to work at the office, for phone calls and emails, and conversation on topics of the past day or upcoming tasks.

You will be working daily with the President of the company. You will be required to work in a fast paced and busy work environment that is focused on completing tasks efficiently and correctly each and every time. You will be held to a high standard of excellence to the best at your position. The work environment is very busy each and every day. (If you like to be bored or just go through the motions daily, this is not the right position for you). You will be required to jump from task to task to be able to accomplish all items that would need to be completed in a day. The Hours will extend beyond normal work hours as you will be helping a CEO move a company to the next level.

The main work location is in Mount Washington, Pittsburgh . It could vary as needed from day to day.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep Schedule for President of company - Daily meetings, travel, project completion.
  • "Wear multiple hats" from marketing, advertising, recruiting -on boarding, customer service, production, project management, purchasing & estimating
  • Communicate with customers and team members professionally
  • Type professional emails and letters as needed
  • Learn to create meeting agendas and track follow up of team
  • Plan out and help coordinate completion of projects for different departments in the company
  • Help create written processes for the company and train team members
  • Perform all other office misc. office tasks
  • Complete Phone Calls & Emails needing completed by CEO and provide feedback
  • Complete Misc. Daily Tasks from emails to phone from contractors and customers and calls
  • This list is just a brief list of items of the job description. A more thorough list can be discussed in person. You would have to have an open mind to take on new projects as they come up with the main goal of assisting in order to help move the business forward towards its goals.

  • Adaptable and a willingness to learn new work and concepts. President works hands on in many departments and will need you to follow behind and keep up with what is going on to help be a solid support system
  • Basics in Accounting & Quickbooks & Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
