POSITION: Site Supervisor
STATUS: Full Time; 37.5 hours / week
SCHEDULE/HOURS: Varies
LOCATION: East Region of Pittsburgh
SALARY: $43,000.Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
ResponsibilitiesThe Site Supervisor position provides daily oversight and technical assistance to associates, consumers and families regarding residential placements (community living arrangement, CLA) and services and it provides direct care
to consumers/clients residing with Milestone.Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Demonstrates and reflects a commitment to the mission and values of Milestone by serving others with respect, dignity, and compassion.
  • Utilizes Sanctuary Model’s shared values, the Seven Commitments and tools to conduct daily tasks.
  • Provides direct support to the consumers/clients.
  • Assures that programmatic and Agency needs are met and complement each other.
  • Maintains fiscal responsibility to the homes supervised.
  • Provides daily supervision to the Direct Support Staff and Resident Advisors (RA)
  • Provides: Role modeling Training Timely feedback Other shadowing opportunities
  • Conducts monthly supervision sessions with RAs (individually and entire team).
  • Facilitates monthly Staff Meetings.
  • Seeks continuous quality improvement in services and operations.
  • Works with Human Resources and the Training Coordinator to facilitate employee orientations as appropriate.
  • Assists the Director of Operations and the management team to create and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Serves as an Agency Point Person, per OMR’s Incident Management Bulletin
  • Develops and maintains a home-like, therapeutic environment that supports client growth and development.
  • Maintains a safe environment, which includes but is not limited to, the completion of regular inspections of the physical site and vehicle, reports maintenance needs and monitors completion of safety issues/concerns.
  • Handles client and staff emergencies.
  • Provides on-call coverage as needed.
  • Monitors the home supervised outside of the regular workday.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum two years' experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Minimum one year in a residential and / or nursing home setting
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, including computer proficiency
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead staff, monitor customer satisfaction, and quality control indicators
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and use of vehicle
  • Act 33, 34 and (if applicable) FBI clearances
Minimum CompensationUSD $43,000.00/Yr.
