Partners in Child Development is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Andover, MA

For over 50 years, Partners in Child Development (PCD), a human services, nonprofit has been changing the trajectory of children’s lives. Our mission “Nurturing the growth and potential of EVERY child” is rooted in our innovation, professional development, and new therapeutic approaches.

Our three core programs include The Anderson and Woodbridge schools in Andover. Our Early Intervention program in Lawrence will be expanding into the greater Lowell and surrounding towns in the near future.

The Job

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an entry level, full-time position joining our growing Human Resources team headquartered at Andover, MA. The candidate will be an analytical and process thinker with great verbal, written and interpersonal skills who is interested in growing their Human Resources career. The core responsibilities involve HRIS administration/updates, hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, and record keeping support. This position will interact with all employees and management levels and work closely with the HR team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study, and/or a combination of college education is desired.
  • Minimum of 1-year relevant HR experience, including HRIS systems administration and related systems data entry experience. Experience with Paylocity or other related HRIS system preferred.
  • HR administration, employee records, onboarding experience and a basic understanding of HR functions/best practice is a plus.
  • Analytical and detail orientation with a collaborative work style and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. work with employees at all levels of the organization in an approachable and open manner.
  • Strong customer service focus, listening skills and organization skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must have solid experience using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook email, databases and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and ethics.
