Partners Personnel is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near San Leandro, CA
We are seeking an energetic Customer Service Representative to join our team, full time M-F 8am to 5pm, onsite in San Leandro, CA. Compensation range is $23.00 to $24.00/hr. D.O.E.
Position Summary: To achieve this goal, Customer Service Representatives must work in a professional manner with all company personnel including Warehouse Personnel, Drivers, Sales Rep’s, Accounting, and Administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company handbook and additional resources.
- Provide outstanding customer service to our customers.
- Place orders from our customers accurately and efficiently.
- Send Acknowledgements of orders to Customers to eliminate issues.
- Review, confirm, process, acknowledge and maintain all customer orders and backorders.
- Track shipments and follow up orders to Customers satisfaction.
- Review Customers backorders, open orders, and will advise order Reports.
- Assist in scheduling deliveries with Customers, Warehouse, Drivers, and LTL Carriers.
- Obtain Freight Rates.
- Work with Sales Rep’s to achieve maximum Sales.
- Present, assist, sell and promote company products over the phone and to walk in customers.
- Provide product Information to our customers and others.
- Handle Customer problems and claims with resolution.
- Assist Will Calls and C.O.D. Collections.
- Follow all procedures when handling Cash, Checks and credit cards. In a secure manner. Coordinate with Credit dept.
- Participate in Inventory control.
- Assist in Account Receivables.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Help maintain showroom with Sales Reps.
- Must be able to work in an office setting in a professional manner.
- Show good people skills. Work well with all other team members and fellow employees.
- Use conduct benefiting to the Company and fellow employees.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- 1-2 years of similar experience and High School diploma or GED
- Experience with computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook software, strong typing and data entry
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be detailed orientated, professional and able to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Able to life/move up to 25lbs.
