We are seeking a skilled Mandarin Licensed Customs Broker to join our team in Cerritos , CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customs documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations for international shipments. Compensation $25.00/hr., full time, onsite, temp to hire M-F role.

Duties:

- Handle customs clearance processes for import and export shipments

- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for customs declarations

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of customs documentation

- Stay updated on FDA regulations and other relevant laws impacting customs clearance

- Utilize AS400 or similar software for customs brokerage tasks

- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth customs processes

- Negotiate with carriers, agents, and other parties involved in the supply chain

- Manage logistics sales and contracts related to customs brokerage services

- Utilize NVOCC knowledge for ocean freight shipments

- Dispatch shipments efficiently and track their progress

Skills:

- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese language AND licensed is required!

- 3yrs. of Cargo Wise experience. Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures

- Experience in negotiating contracts and sales agreements

- Familiarity with AS400 or similar customs brokerage software

- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and NVOCC operations

- Ability to handle dispatching tasks effectively

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
