Trust Company is looking to hire a Fund Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain general ledger of CTF investment funds, and other investment assets, including valuations, management fees, trustee commissions, and distributions.
• Coordinate the Company’s monthly valuation process including ensuring that all assets held are accurately entered, activities are reflected timely, and that record keeping is updated and maintained.
• Perform regular, detailed, quality review of data and financial reports including daily reconciliation reviews. Determine source of error and who should adjust variance. Oversee correction process.
• Review client statements
• Regular engagement with staff and with external service providers on an ongoing basis to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoots reporting issues and ensures internal and external reporting requests are handled timely, accurately and with a focus on customer service.
• Work with Senior Management to provide data to external auditors and state regulators in conjunction with audits, reports, filings and examinations.
• Participate / engage in operational due diligence / compliance reporting e.g. regulatory audits, annual fund audits, as well as special ad-hoc projects.
