Job Description:

Under general supervision of the Community Outreach Program Manager, this position serves with other case managers, and provides case management/court advocacy services to assist clients who may be victims of crime related to issues of domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, and stalking. Services will include, but not be limited to, providing families and individuals with the tools to be safe and independent; hotline services, crisis intervention and counseling, shelter, case management, advocacy, The position will work with the VSS staff in various departments including the case management team, house management team, crisis team, interns, community partners including paraprofessionals and volunteers for quality assurance in implementation of Council on Accreditation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
  • Two years of experience in social work or human services field
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft suite skills
  • Good Communications skills both oral and written
  • Data entry and filing mgmt. skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Community engagement skills and awareness
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish (preferred)

Job Duties:

  • Attends DV Court sessions
  • Completes case files and documentation per policy
  • Manage a caseload
  • Manage client relationships
  • Manage community relationships
  • Complete Monthly and quarterly reports
  • Participates in community outreach projects as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
