FULFILLMENT MANAGER NEEDED IN LEBANON, INDIANA, DIRECT HIRE

Full-time: Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5p.m.

Salary starts at $50 - $60 (perfect opportunity for a strong leader to move into a full-manager role)

Position Summary

The Fulfillment Manager is responsible for the successful and safe operation of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, supervising the warehouse staff and problem-solving. The Fulfillment Manager’s primary duty is to ensure the warehouse staff works together as a team to ensure there are no interruptions in service provided to customers or other team members. Being highly motivated, energetic, organized, and able to lead a tenured and experienced team will be ideal in succeeding in this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful execution of receiving, warehousing and order fulfillment by adhering to program, operational and personnel policies and procedures

• Recommend improvements to program, operational and personnel policies and procedures

• Provide a safe work environment to warehouse staff and visitors

• Encourage and empower team to share their thoughts and ideas on ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse

• Modify warehouse team members’ schedules to improve productivity and control overtime when necessary

• Communicate professionally with all internal and external parties

• Minimize inventory discrepancies by reviewing cycle counts; confirms and reconciles with data in the system

• Plan for future capacity and storage requirements; communicate with Fulfillment Director regarding storage and/or space concerns when necessary

• Maintain cleanliness and physical condition of warehouse and equipment; schedule routine cleaning with warehouse staff and issue work orders for routine inspections and repairs

• Oversee slitting, re-rolling, and converting requests, schedules, and lead times

Build a cross-trained team by training employees properly in all areas so employees are diversified in their skills

• Develop warehouse staff by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; plan, monitor and appraise job results

• Stock inspections as needed

• Oversee and coordinate with supply vendors to ensure proper levels of shipping and warehouse supplies at all times

• Miscellaneous projects and duties as needed

Requirements

• Strong management and leadership abilities - open to reviewing strong team leads who are seeking an opportunity for advancement

• Ability to assist in the hiring and training of new warehouse team members

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics AX

• Positive attitude and desire to provide excellent service

• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and open to stepping in directly (hands-on leader)

• Ability to lift and work with heavy products up to 100 pounds and open to becoming forklift certified if necessary

• Strong work ethic and initiative

• Ability to problem solve

• Highly motivated to assist in other areas as needed
