Outbound Sales Agent

PartsWarehouse provides their customers with complete support, therefore we do handle high-volume phone calls, emails, and text messages daily. Our phones are open 7 days a week offering customers a lifeline where most retail companies in the online environment do not. The ideal candidate will have experience with cold calling, or appointment setting, with a strong sales background.

Position Description
Our candidate will handle outbound calls to previous customers daily in order to gain repeat business; being able to multi-task and manage workflow efficiently is paramount. Assessing customer needs and identifying cross-selling opportunities is an important aspect of the position. Candidates must be personable, possess strong organizational and time management skills if they are to succeed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Sales Rep

• Researching and responding to questions received from our clients
• Process received orders using the company order system
• Answering complex questions regarding order shipments and potential backorders
• Assessing needs and providing solutions to clients
• In-depth knowledge of company products, campaigns, and business practices
• Answering or making a minimum of 70 calls per day
• Turning part inquiries into sales opportunities

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales
• Sales experience in either a Retail or Online environment
• Having experience with Schematics, Blueprints, or previous experience in mechanical and technical sectors is a plus, but not required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Salary

• Average income for a sales associate range from 29K to 48K.

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
