Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Research team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care. Duties:
- Perform vital signs assessments, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate, blood draws
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, patient follow-up

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service with compassion and empathy
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is an asset
