Hyatt Place Pasadena – Room Attendant At Hyatt Hotel our Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. Responsibilities:Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house. Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs/pack and play, cots, extra towels, etc. Secure and document lost and found items Maintains inventory of necessary supplies. Reports necessary maintenance items. Follows departmental policies and procedures. Follows all safety and sanitation policies. Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. Performs additional duties as needed. Work Environment:Must wear proper uniform attire. You will occasionally interact with the public and supervisors throughout the day. Usually, you will work indoors when cleaning. In some cases, you may be outdoors when cleaning the balconies or other outdoor spaces. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.Will be exposed to contaminants, cleaning products, diseases, or infections. Hotels operate 24/7 therefore schedules may at times fluctuate based on the needs of the business. May work as part of a team. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twist, or lifting as much as 25lbs. throughout your scheduled shift.
