- Four years’ experience teaching
- Two years of Highly Effective or Effective Value-Added Model (VAM) ratings
- Two years’ experience in a leadership or mentoring role
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
- Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in assigned subject area or grade level
