PASONA N A, INC. is Hiring an Accounting Clerk-Mostly WFH Near Lemont, IL
Prepares and keeps financial and business transaction data up-to-date, applying accepted procedures, and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records.
Independently controls accounts receivable following GAAP and company policy. Verifies financial data for use in maintaining accounts receivable records, and provides other clerical support as necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
- Review scanned checks before submission
- Enter accounts receivable data into ERP (e.g. make deposit entries, apply payments)
- Prepare aging reports and lead past-due accounts receivable meeting
- Investigate and resolve payment exceptions
- Prepare Journal Entries
- Make calculations and manipulate data in Excel
- Perform reconciliations
- File sales/use tax returns
- Maintain compliance (e.g. collect tax exemption certificates, track rate changes, etc.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all customers
- Assist with month-end close, year-end close, and financial audit
- Perform other accounting tasks on an ad hoc basis
Requirement
- Accounting related degree
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate Excel knowledge(VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
- Microsoft D365 experience or other ERP experience is preferred but not necessary
