Position: SeniorFront End Software Engineer

Work location: Irvine, CA

Work Hours: 9-6

Work Style: Hybrid (3 days in the office )

Essential Job Duties

Development and Design

• Design, develop, and implement aspects of software applications that enhance user interface and experience, using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and others.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to turn creative visions into functional and engaging user interfaces.
• Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure they stay fresh, efficient, and optimized for mobile devices.
• Create quality mockups and prototypes in the early stages of development.
• Maintain the highest standards of visual aesthetics and consistency across all front-end elements.

Performance and Optimization

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, focusing on client-side performance.
• Expertly utilize a range of front-end development frameworks and libraries to enhance application functionality.
• Lead performance testing initiatives and make necessary improvements to ensure optimal functioning.
• Champion accessibility to create inclusive digital experiences for all users.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and frameworks to maximize development efficiency, particularly in front-end development.

Collaboration/Client Engagement

• Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and translate these into technical specifications for the user interface and experience.
• Work to align the developed software with client expectations in terms of functionality, usability, and front-end performance.
• Collect and incorporate feedback from users and customers to develop user-centered designs and solutions.
• Work with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability and align development with stakeholder vision and project goals.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering experience at the corporate environment (not including internship)
• Web Development Proficiency: Skilled in git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and React for effective interface creation.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Ability to translate design concepts into functional web elements.
• Performance Optimization: Expertise in enhancing web application speed and responsiveness.
• Team Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical team members.
• User-Centric Approach: Focused on integrating user feedback for improved usability and design.
