Job Summary:
As a Salad Prep, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling fresh salads and other cold dishes. Prep all the other items for the restaurant. This is a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and assemble salads according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
- Prepare dressings, sauces, and garnishes
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
