We are seeking a tutor who will provide support to the Lead Instructor by coaching and tutoring in areas of basic math skills to college level math.

This is a part-time, hourly position that is grant-funded.

Examples of Duties:

* Provide daily instruction using a curriculum aligned with the College and Career Readiness (CCR) State Standards applied to the High School Equivalency certification.

* Prepare participants without a High School Diploma to master skills in basic math skills to college level math, to attain a high school diploma (HiSET) or equivalent.

* Provide instruction in a workplace-related technology components, including the introduction to Microsoft Excel or similar technology.

* Enforce program policies and procedures, maintain effective classroom management, and complete weekly lesson plans.

* Collaborate with other program staff to address participant issues.

* Deliver quizzes, exams, and other evaluation tools; track participant performance.

* Maintain attendance, progress, participant checklists, and other records.

* Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred

* Proficient and/or placed on college-level Math required.

* Strong Math Skills required.

* Tutoring experience preferred.

* Experience working with diverse populations a plus.
