Passons Eye Center, PLLC is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Memphis, TN

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology or optometry, as well as a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tests and providing patient education. Our Ophthalmic Technicians must be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ophthalmic examinations
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, refractions, slit lamp exams, OCT and visual field testing.
  • Provide patient education on eye health and safety.
  • Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
  • Provide assistance with patient phone calls

Job Type: Full-time
