Qualifications:
- Must have a World Language certification.
- Must have a Supervisor certification.
- Knowledge of NJDOE Seal of Biliteracy
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in World Language instruction.
- Fluent in at least one world language.
- Strong understanding of language learning principles and methodologies. Proficiency in additional languages may be preferred.
- Knowledge of current trends and research in World Language.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment of language proficiency.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced language learning tools.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Able to identify challenges and implement solutions to improve language programs, student outcomes, and overall program effectiveness.
- Understanding of the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and a commitment to promoting these values within the language program.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
