Qualifications
- Must hold appropriate New Jersey instructional certification with appropriate special education endorsement(s), Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped Certification.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and all other school stakeholders.
- Cooperative spirit and a willingness to work with all school stakeholders.
- Have excellent integrity and demonstrate solid moral character and initiative.
- Excellent technology skills.
