Astrodyne TDI is looking for experienced and innovative Electrical Engineers to join our teams across multiple locations. You'll be at the forefront of developing state-of-the-art power conversion products and EMI filter solutions for a variety of demanding applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced power conversion systems and EMI filter products.
• Create detailed electrical circuit schematic diagrams and part lists.
• Conduct component stress analyses and calculate Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).
• Lead debug testing and design verification testing of prototypes.
• Conduct detailed analytical design analyses and collaborate on the mechanical design of products.
• Develop power conversion products including Transformers, Power Distribution units, and Isolation Transformers
• Manage the creation and maintenance of essential engineering documentation.
• Work closely with the New Product Introduction team to ensure smooth project transfers and testing phases.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during the bidding process and interact with marketing on new product development.
• Deliver technical presentations to management and technical staff.
• Mentor and train junior members of the engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in development activities focused on electronic power conversion products, including a proven track record with switch-mode power supply designs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as PSpice and Mathcad.
• Experience in resolving EMC issues and, preferably, in high-frequency magnetic component design and microcontroller circuits for power electronics.
• Hands-on experience with RF design and EMC troubleshooting
• Agency compliance experience (UL, CSA, VDE, CE).
• Strong leadership capabilities to drive project tasks and ensure timely execution.
