Path Engineering is Hiring a Field Engineering Technician Near Lombard, IL
As a Field Engineering Technician (also known as Installation Technician, Field Service Engineer), you'll act as a liaison with local engineering offices and contractors, coordinate with utilities, install and maintain photo enforcement equipment, conduct system quality evaluations, perform cabling installation, drive and maintain company vehicles, and assist with surveys and traffic studies.
Benefits- Competitive wage of $24-$26 per hour.
- Monday to Friday work schedule, 7:30AM-4:00PM.
- Temp to Hire opportunity.
- Associate’s degree in the technical field with 1 year of relevant installation experience, or training courses and certificates in electronic sensors and systems with at least 10 years of relevant installation experience.
- Knowledge of IP-based cameras, IP networking, Microsoft Office and Windows Desktop, electrical and mechanical theories and principles, and structured cabling.
- Proficient experience with hand tools and measuring instruments, including multimeter, and ability to work without supervision consistently performing duties to company standards.
