As an Industrial Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Engineer), you'll perform a variety of maintenance duties including new installations, troubleshooting, and welding. You'll operate mobile equipment and hand and power tools, understand diagnostic tools, and follow all safety rules and company policies. You'll also read and understand blueprints, perform layout, assembly, and wiring of component parts, and keep necessary records and logs.
