Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans for those undergoing gastrointestinal procedures.
- Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the GI Lab.
- Monitoring and managing patient symptoms and conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families about procedures, medications, and care plans.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Active RN license in Georgia.
- At least three (3) years of prior experience in an intensive care setting, including Critical Care and GI Lab experience.
- Nurse Managers reserve the right to determine if ICU experience meets their needs.
- Must have worked within the last six (6) months in this specialty/setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
