Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Monitoring and managing patient symptoms and conditions, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and home care needs.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Active RN license in Georgia.
- At least three (3) years of current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting (exclusive of agency assignments).
- Must have worked within the last six (6) months in the above settings to ensure familiarity with current practices and protocols.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
