Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OR/PACU RN to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. As an OR/PACU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in both the operating room and post-anesthesia care unit. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise, attention to detail, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Managing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, including scrubbing and circulating as needed.
  • Monitoring and managing patient symptoms and conditions post-surgery, ensuring a smooth and safe recovery process.
  • Educating patients and their families about pre- and post-operative care and expectations.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in Georgia.
  • At least three (3) years of current experience in an operating room setting (exclusive of agency assignments).
  • Ability to scrub and/or circulate effectively in the operating room.
  • Must have worked within the last six (6) months in an operating room setting to ensure familiarity with current practices and protocols.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
