Job Summary:

As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need within the comfort of their homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being and safety of clients, and fostering positive relationships with both clients and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with geriatric or medical needs is a plus.

Skills:
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to provide compassionate and personalized care to clients.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Understanding of hospital medicine, medical-surgical procedures, and geriatric care.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in caregiving are a bonus.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.70 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
