We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Your primary responsibility will be to greet patients, schedule appointments, and provide administrative support to the medical staff.
```Duties:```
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts using Elation EMR
- Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including faxing, filing, and data entry
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Previous experience working in a medical receptionist role preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management and health record system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
- Proficient in front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries
- Knowledge of medical office procedures, including medical scheduling and administrative support tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
