The Digital Media Content Creator at Patria Church is responsible for working collaboratively to bring continuity to Patria Church’s multiple communication channels for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. This role oversees all content across social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other trendy platforms that our congregation gravitates towards or Patria leadership endeavors towards. The Digital Media Content Creator will produce written and verbal media for both internal and external consumption. They will be responsible for initiating social media strategies and timelines for departments, special events, conferences, and all services across multiple Patria Church Campuses. The Digital Media Content Creator is responsible for finding and moderating compelling and transformative stories of how Christ has changed lives through the gospel to share on video and social media. The Digital Media Content Creator will report directly to the Creative Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embraces and executes a Neighborhood Groups philosophy of ministry.
  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for ALFC’s websites, social media, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
  • Conducts research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about transformative or compelling stories, then contextualizes findings.
  • Connect with departments about potential stories of life change.
  • Meets as a team to determine production vision and participates in staff planning meetings.
  • Assist the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Responsible for any event or registration build out of social media platforms.
  • Create timelines and manage the content calendar for social media.
  • Understand Patria Church’s brand and supports it with accurate depictions of the vision to Seek the lost, Teach the found, and Send the disciples.
  • Collaborates with volunteers to assist in photography for social media and acquiring stories.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives and complete tasks.
  • Manage projects, organize tasks, and prioritize workload.
  • Communicate project progress with ministry departments.
  • Suggests new ways to promote company offerings and to reach people.
  • Stays current on social media trends, remains innovative, and continuously hones craftsmanship.
  • Aggregates content from different media teams, including photography, broadcast, and video teams, to develop the highest quality content reflective of our worship experiences, our congregation, and our campaigns.
  • Creates engaging posts with complete marketing funnels and outcomes.
  • Evaluate the success of social media campaigns through outcome-based tracking and analysis.
  • Develops engaging value propositions through creative storytelling and trendy, relevant content reflective of the culture of Patria Church.
  • Effectively lead and empower volunteer teams and devise content calendars effectively.
  • Schedules posting for highest engagement with our demographics.
  • Creates and drives creative storytelling for all of Patria Church’s campaigns.
  • Harness community management skills across our platform's followers, to continually build an online community and culture.
  • Facilitate the production of media from other departments within the creative department when needed.

Qualifications


 EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Able to successfully complete background investigation and drug screen.
  • Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Windows based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field preferred.
  • Experience creating strong, engaging content.
  • Experience with promoting a brand or organization with social media (Including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok).
  • Experience utilizing Search Engine Optimization methods to increase site traffic.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Always demonstrate Christ-centered behavior by treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.
  • Member of the Patria Church (or willing to transfer membership to Patria Church).
  • Pastors are required to attend all regularly scheduled Sunday and Wednesday church services. Support staff must attend at least one (1) regularly scheduled weekend church service.
  • Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
  • Regular involvement in Patria Church activities, ministries, neighborhood groups, and events.
  • Tithe 10% to Patria Church.
  • Signed acknowledgment of the Patria Church’s Statement of Faith.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to Patria Church’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Be self-motivated and goal oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
