We are seeking a high-level Assistant General Manager who can oversee the daily operations of this high-volume, upscale restaurant.

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Duties:

• Select and manage a diverse wine list; strong wine knowledge is a plus!
• Must have strong P&L, budgets, and sales forecasting experience.
• Knowledge of food trends.
• Work closely with local hotels and tourism centers to identify sales trends and opportunities.
• Make the best decisions for the business. Which includes forecasting sales and adjusting staff levels accordingly.
• Coach train and develop management team.

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

• Must have 3 years of senior management experience in a high-volume, from-scratch restaurant.
• Upscale Dining experience preferred.
• Must have a go-getter attitude, lead by example, and positive/upbeat attitude. “Run it like you Own it” persona.
• Must be passionate about food and guest service.
• Strong wine knowledge is needed.
• Proven track record of coaching and developing a management team.
• Proven track record of driving sales and creating partnerships with local businesses to do so.
• Experience opening a new restaurant highly preferred.
• High School Diploma
• No more than 3 jobs in five years, or 3 jobs in 9 years.
