Summary

The CNC Router Operator will help in all efforts to provide our customers with quality products. This position must ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. The CNC Router Operator will use a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions in a wood manufacturing setting. This successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for the production of high-quality wood and other material parts.

Responsibilities

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

· Prepare and operate CNC router machines to perform a wide range of tasks.

· Understand specifications of tasks and desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.

· Translate instructions into computer commands in order for the machines to perform the correct functions.

· Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines.

· Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.

· Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of material.

• Oversee all machines while they execute tasks and make any necessary adjustments to verify they are producing quality results.
• Inspect and measure all completed product for quality control.

· Package and label parts according to customer requests.

· Check and maintain machine on a daily basis and submitting maintenance requests, if needed.

Qualifications

· Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual is preferred. (English, Spanish)

· Minimum of 2 years of CNC operating experience preferred.

· Pervious warehouse experience preferred.

· Proficient with MS Office suite and/or inventory/CNC software to maintain records, input data, and create prints.

• Able to meet the physical demands of the job including standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50-67 pounds.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse.

· Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
