We are growing and looking to add a Software Developer to our rapidly expanding Team. Working closely with IT and Business Leaders, the Software Developer is responsible for understanding Patrick’s Manufacturing needs and developing tools that help Patrick Industries move towards the next phase in its growth, Manufacturing 4.0!
Responsibilities And Duties

• Work with stakeholders to define and outline software requirements and intended functional capabilities
• Review existing code to determine viability and identify debugging opportunities
• Build new software applications from scratch or develop new features for existing applications
• Develop and test new tools to ensure functionality
• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to software requirements, design and architecture
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with stakeholders throughout the entirety of the development lifecycle
• Continuously evaluate and improve design throughout the entirety of the Development Lifecycle to allow for evolving project needs and software capability
• Coordinate deployment of new releases to the plants
• Ensure the quality, performance and security of the software by following best practice standards
• Ensuring company adherence to SOX Compliance standards
• Work alongside corporate IT to assist with project migration to the cloud
• Manage special projects from end to end through communication with internal leaders and support staff
• Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures as necessary

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10 years of Software Development experience
• Manufacturing Industry experience strongly preferred
• Must possess strong knowledge of coding languages such as: Python (Required), C , .net, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, etc.
• Strong Scripting skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Tools and Frameworks including Azure, SQL, MySQL required
• Must have previous experience developing cloud API frameworks including designs, security controls, and policies
• Must be able to work with multiple internal departments to ensure that all communication is efficient throughout the implementation of a new project
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Qualified candidates must feel comfortable working independently
• The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, discrete, and possess the ability to manage confidential information while balancing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent organizational skills and follow through
• Demonstrates a high-level personal integrity
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities
