Role Overview:

The Cash Accountant will be a key player in the overall accounting and control process for Patrick Motor Group. This role will focus on reconciling all of our cash accounts, performing a key business control and ensuring our financial statements are accurate. In addition, there will be a focus on managing our accounts receivable process, particularly the receipt of payments alongside other key balance sheet reconciliations process.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm with occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank account reconciliation
• Perform accounts receivable cash receipt process
• Review and prepare various asset account Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries as assigned
• At times accurately preform the deal capture process(capping) into the ERP system
• Perform various inventory control responsibilities
• Work across departments to assist in improving current internal processes
• Assist in the development of internal controls and participate in financial audits as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments.

• All other duties assigned by the Controller.

Experience Requirements:

• Must have at minimum, 1 year of general automotive accounting experience.
• Computer and communication skills must be at an intermediate level.
• Employees must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Employee must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.

Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to sit for long periods of time. Use their hands to handle control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repeat the same movements for 7 hours a day at minimum. Must be able to get in and out of vehicles and travel. Occasionally, lift boxes up to 30 lbs. Occasional bending, walking, and mobility will be necessary.
