Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within budget. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Project Coordinator will be the key point of contact for clients
Duties:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Assist Estimator and PMs on various tasks in relations to ongoing projects.
- Review and approve project documents, including schematics and blueprints.
- Utilize project management tools, such as ProCore to track project progress and identify potential issues.
- Manage project materials and supplies, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available for project tasks.
- Assist with preparing and submitting reports, including project status updates and financial reports.
- Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring that they are in line with budget expectations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities
- 2-4 years experience in construction, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a project coordinator or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficient in project management software, including ProCore
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
-Understanding all aspects of ground up construction among various trades
Skills:
- Schematics and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in ProCore
- Experience with construction terms and practices
- Familiarity with material take offs
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to build relationships with construction teams
