Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Duties:

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security of premises
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms
• Respond to emergencies and security threats
• Enforce property regulations and guidelines
• Aid customers and employees when needed
• Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations

Shift Available:

• Wednesday - Sunday : See details below.
• Wednesday - Friday 1700-0000 & Saturday - Sunday 0700-1500

Starting pay is $19.41 per hour with the possibility of overtime.

Required Skills and Education:

• Valid Driver License with three years of a clean record.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card
• Valid BSIS Baton Permit
• Valid Peper Spray Permit
• Valid American Red Cross or American Heart First Aid Card
• Valid American Red Cross or American Heart CPR Card
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Able to carry out written orders, policies and procedures
• Willing to accept Shift Work, including weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
• Reliable transportation
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete required patrols and reports using a iPhone based application.

Desirable Skills and Education:

• 2 years of security experience

Officer Responsibilities May Include:

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security of premises
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms
• Respond to emergencies and security threats
• Enforce property regulations and guidelines
• Aid customers and employees when needed
• Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations
• Conduct bike patrols, alone and with a partner.
• Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders.
• Utilize a smart phone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.
• Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.
• Maintain professional communications with clients and colleagues.
