We are looking for a Corporate Controller responsible for all accounting and internal financial reporting related to Pattern Inc and its associated entities. The Corporate Controller reports directly to the VP of Accounting. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, UT.

  • Managing the monthly/quarterly/annual financial close process
  • Coordinating with external auditors

  • Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

  • Providing reporting and solutions for ad-hoc information requests
  • Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state regulations for financial and fiscal reporting
  • Supervising accounting functions including review of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
What will I need to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, masters preferred
  • CPA
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred
  • Experience working in an accounting leadership role for a publicly traded company is strongly preferred
  • Detailed understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements
  • Experience managing the financial close process
  • Ability to drive process improvement and act as an agent for change
  • Ability to research and document complex accounting transactions
  • Experience accounting for inventory in a eCommerce environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across departments
  • Self-motivated and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail
  • Self-directed, but with a natural ability and desire to work on a team
