About the job

We are looking for a Junior SoftwareEngineer (Remote) for a global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will beresponsible for design, development, maintenance, testing, and quality andperformance assurance of system software products.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and enhancement: Makes changes to system software to correct errors in the original implementation and creates extensions to existing programs to add new features or performance improvements.
• Major enhancement and new product design: Designs and develops major functional or performance enhancements for existing products, or produces new software products or tools.
• Quality and performance assurance: Reviews requirements, specifications, and designs to assure product quality; develops and implements plans and tests for product quality or performance assurance.
• Applies the basic foundation of a function’s principles, theories, and concepts to assignments of limited scope.
• Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience.
• Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within the business environment.
• Acts as a team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts.
  

Requirements

• Experience in multiple software systems design tools and languages.
• Experience in ETL Process.
• Experience in SQL and Python.
• Experience in Programming software for operating systems, utilizing machine assembly and/or job control languages and software capabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree
