Position: Facilities Manager/Forklift Operator
Hours/Week: Part Time, 20 hours per week

Summary:
Facilities Manager/Forklift Operator coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Manager/Forklift Operator oversees operations at a warehouse and / or storage facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing contents are processed according to schedule.
Preparing schedules for Warehouse Associates, training new employees on how to use machinery and monitoring compliance with safety standards
This role centers around organization and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse's storage process
Maintaining warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition
Establishing warehouse practices and protocols
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse
Monitoring workplace performance and help train employees
Operating the forklift safely
Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Good project management skills, including strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
• Familiarity with inventory control practices
• Comfortable using organizational computer applications
• Physical strength and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• 3 years' experience operating a forklift
