Paul Davis Restoration provides professional residential, commercial and industrial emergency restoration services for disasters of all sizes. From water and flood damage, to fire damage and mold remediation, Paul Davis Restoration is available 24/7 to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. Founded in 1966, Paul Davis Restoration is a rapidly growing network of more than 370 independently owned and operated restoration franchises in the United States and Canada.

We’re looking to add an outgoing, enthusiastic and optimistic Business Development Manager to our team of restoration professionals. You must be an assertive, persuasive individual who is also an excellent listener and thrives on creating and growing relationships. Our office is in Charleston, South Carolina and you would be responsible for developing the 3 major counties surrounding the area (Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston) as our Business Development Manager.

If you join our team, you will have the freedom and independence to pursue your goals and will be provided the support and tools you’ll need to achieve success. There is no cap on commissions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business by generating opportunities and leads

• Set and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals

• Actively manage any lead up until the point of sale; follow up regularly after the sale to ensure client satisfaction

• Maintain regular contact with existing clients to understand needs and identify new business opportunities

• Ensure follow-up and response to clients in a timely manner

• Work as part of the Marketing team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities and processes

• Track leads/wins/losses and marketing efforts through CRM

• Represent Paul Davis at various events, organizations, and associations for building relationships that lead to new business and develop community ties to enhance public image and brand of the company

• Maintain complete market awareness and utilize your contacts, knowledge and experience to allow Paul Davis to expand into new markets and generate opportunities

• Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of industry trends to position Paul Davis to take advantage of a changing landscape

• Attend bi-weekly marketing meetings to discuss results and direction

Qualifications:

• Possess strong business development and/or service industry sales skills

• Have a proven sales track record in business development

• Strong closing skills and account management experience

• Great networking skills

• Committed to a high standard of integrity and work ethic

• Strategic thinking, planning and be adaptable to change

• Excellent communication skills - no fear of cold-calling

• Effective time-management within a fast-paced and risk-oriented environment

• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management database (CRM) and experience using one is highly desirable

• Ability to travel extensively within our service territory (Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley Counties)

• Experience in Insurance Restoration and/or Property Management industry is preferred. Established “local” business relationships in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors is a major plus.
