As a member of the HR team, the duties and responsibilities of the Recruiter include: 

  • Work with department managers on full cycle recruiting plans 
  • Creation, modification, and posting of job description listings
  • Source, review, and screen candidates; conduct phone interviews and schedule/coordinate in-person interviews
  • Effectively fill and maintain optimal personnel in open positions across our Mountain West locations
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Proactively develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance; Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Assist marketing in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally
  • Coordinate and attend recruiting initiatives & career fairs
  • Assist in preparing, coordinating, and sending new hire onboarding packages
  • Collaborate with the HR, Operations, & Accounting in improving onboarding experience
  • Manage the use of staffing agencies
  • Manage the ATS and HRIS for accuracy and ensure timely updates/changes
  • Performs other HR duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience with recruiting, training, employee retention, or new hire onboarding preferred
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate with various departments and foster collaboration
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and coaching skills
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and ad-hoc requests
  • General knowledge with state and federal laws, employment laws, regulations, and best practices applicable human resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; skills in database management and record keeping a plus
  • Maintains the highest level of privacy and confidentiality regarding sensitive HR information, communications, etc.

Requirements:

  • Work full-time (40 hours/week) In-office; Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Remaining in a stationary position at a desk with a computer, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
