We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the insurance defense industry or civil litigation. Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance defense cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
• Prepare for and try cases in state and federal court
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for successful case outcomes
• Argue motions and present oral arguments in court
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
• Preferred 2 years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with depositions, trial preparation, arguing motions in court, and trying cases
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines

We are an insurance defense firm that specializes in defending personal injury matters, commercial/tractor-trailer accidents, and first-party uninsured/underinsured motorist claims. Our attorneys have substantial experience in each of these areas and their services are comprehensive. This includes a focus on evaluating and defending against liability claims. If liability is clear, they explore, assess, and investigate the alleged damages. If the matter is unable to be resolved, they prepare a vigorous defense at trial of liability and damages.
