Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, one of the world’s leading suppliers of yeast-based specialty ingredients for the global food, fermentation, feed, and health market. As part of the Associated British Foods Ingredients group (ABFI), our client provides specialty ingredients to diverse segments, including Food, Beverage, Human Health, Animal Health, and Pharma.

Key Responsibilities 📋:

• Lead CAPEX Projects: Independently execute CAPEX projects from concept to commissioning within specified time, budget, and quality limits.
• Scope Definition: Be the expert in defining and executing investment projects to support strategic and short-term business objectives.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure projects adhere to safety and environmental standards while following best engineering practices.
• Coordination: Identify and coordinate with external partners, including engineering firms, contract manufacturers, and scientific institutions.
• Standardization: Develop and maintain engineering design protocols to standardize equipment and design considerations.
• Leadership: Lead and coach project engineers, enhancing their skills and transferring knowledge.
• Support Site Management: Assist site management in ensuring all projects receive necessary engineering support.

Qualifications 🎓:

• Education: Qualified Engineer with 5 years of experience.
• Experience: Proven track record in delivering complex, multi-year CAPEX projects.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with US construction and building codes, process knowledge of spray drying, extraction, and fermentation.
• Skills: Ability to lead large teams, manage financial budgets, and understand modern plant design.
• Contracts: Awareness of US AIA EPC contracts.
