Seeking an experienced hands-on House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a new Brooklyn Heights loft. The House Manager (HM) will manage a small domestic team, all vendors, household inventory, private parties, and special projects. They will development and implement household manuals, SOPs, employee check lists, and communication systems. As well as conduct daily walk-through and problem-solve issues. Importantly, the HM will understand and communicate employers’ preferences to all staff and vendors and act as the main point of contact between parties. Must be tech/computer proficient to manage calendars, employee/maintenance/household schedules, and track invoices/expenses. This is an active household with children and pets which requires a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves type of House Manager who can assist with pet care, errand running, seasonal wardrobe changes, grocery shopping, and simple meal prep. The schedule is typically Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM though substantial flexibility is both required and appreciated. Compensation: $45 - $55/hour, DOE.
