Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Installation Access Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete Scope of Work for assigned projects which may include some combination of the following:
  • Review and comprehend assigned Scope of Work for each project assigned
  • Verification of pre-packed equipment for project
  • Installation, programming, training as contracted
  • Work as a liaison between the Customer and Project Manager as needed
  • Fulfill all job completion tasks as required (submittal of notes and other required paperwork)
• Maintain timesheet and daily activity log
• Assist in field training of entry level technicians as needed
• Troubleshoot and provide necessary technical support as needed for both Customer and other technicians
• Communicate closely with Project Manager to provide status updates, collaborate and resolve issues
• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage rotation
• Handle warranty issues on new installs for 90 days after completion

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of Technical School (preferably in Electronics Training or equivalent Military Training
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Must be able to operate a fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times
• Ability to communicate and provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Ability to apply networking knowledge to day-to-day installations
• Advanced Computer skills and database knowledge
