Pavion is Hiring a Security Service Technician III Near Ashland, VA

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Security Service Technician III to join integration business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accountable for the successful completion of service requests to include: Quality of Work, Timely results and Customer satisfaction (project closeout)
Experience installing and troubleshooting various security, fire and access control systems: Avigilon, Lenel/S2, CCure 9000, Software House, Notifier (fire), Honeywell / Bosch, Napco and Genetec
Must be able to pull, dress, label, terminate and test various types of category cable
Troubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solution on own, request assistance if necessary.
Respond to telephone calls, email, and internal staff requests for technical support to include documentation, tracking, and monitoring of the request to ensure a timely resolution.
Identify, prioritize and escalate support tickets requiring urgent attention.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Follow up on reassigned unresolved requests.
Research questions using available information resources.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
3-5 Years of Experience working in similar technical role

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree
Industry certification(s)
Basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication, strong sense of customer service
Experience using standard electrical test equipment or specialty test equipment used with network systems, AV equipment, Healthcare systems, or Security equipment.
