Our team is a small team focused on serving the needs of the Consumer Engineering leadership to make sure the operations run smoothly. We thrive in chaos and work well under pressure. We partner with many facets of the business and collaborate with other business operations teams to tackle projects at scale. We are energetic, wear many hats, and are comfortable with frequent context switching.
In your day-to-day role you will:
Contribute to and execute on Workforce Strategy.
Align workforce allocation according to strategic priorities and executed within Workforce Planning. Provide requirements to Workforce Planning for analysis against strategic initiatives to allow decision-making.
Partner with Finance for budget enablement.
Partner with leadership and PMO to create operating plan, goals and objectives, aligned with company’s strategic direction and priorities.
Build a culture of data-driven decision-making by developing, maintaining, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
Develop messaging, ranging from internal communications to presentations.
Execute Employee Engagement efforts in partnership with HR.
Develop and implement best practices across operating rhythms and routines. Facilitate operating cadences such as staff meetings, operational reviews, town halls, leadership offsites, AMAs as required.
Coordinate forums for check-ins with teams, engineering, product, and as needed.
Drive Technical Platform program/project in collaboration with engineering leaders
What do you need to bring:
5 years of experience in planning, business operations or technical project management
10 years of experience delivering projects
Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills. Experience with Workday & Fieldglass preferred
High delivery focus with an emphasis on task ownership and completion
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty
Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed management environment
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
Ability to balance business partnership with the need to exercise independent judgment and to raise issues in a timely and constructive manner
Ability to influence and achieve alignment across a range of different opinions and interests
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field is required
